Septic Maintenance Recommendations
While maintenance procedures vary from one brand of aerobic system or septic tank, all aerobic systems and septic tanks require periodic maintenance to maintain proper function and ensure long life of the components.
Your ARF technician provides you with septic tank service every two-three years which includes septic pumping / septic cleaning, checking scum and sludge levels.
ARF suggests that the trash tank of your aerobic system be pumped on a periodic basis, typically every year. Aerobic pumping frequency depends on usage levels and tank size. Please call our office and we’ll help determine when your system may need to be pumped.
